ARTS & CULTURE
SQREYE creates film and photography for arts and cultural institutions, producing promotional documentaries and artist-led films for organisations including Barbican and Frieze. We work closely with curators and creative teams to translate artistic ideas into cinematic content, designed for digital, social and institutional platforms.
BARBICAN
In summer 2024, we documented Ibrahim Mahama’s large-scale commission Purple Hibiscus for the Barbican Centre. The installation transformed the Barbican’s iconic concrete façade with over 2,000 square metres of bespoke, hand-woven fabric created by hundreds of craftspeople across Ghana.
Alongside documenting the work, we filmed an in-depth artist interview exploring Mahama’s process, themes of labour and materiality, and the cultural significance behind the commission.
FRIEZE
For Frieze, we collaborated on a web series exploring London’s contemporary art and cultural landscape. The series invites artists, gallerists and curators to lead personal neighbourhood tours — spotlighting galleries and studios alongside the parks, cafés and unexpected corners that shape their creative communities.
The first episode features Alessio Antoniolli, director of Gasworks, sharing his South London highlights.

RANDOM INTERNATIONAL
For immersive art collective Random International’s 2026 collaboration with Piccadilly Lights, Together, we produced a weekly custom 5488x2160 digital billboard showcasing user-generated artwork from the interactive exhibition. Each activation was filmed and delivered directly to participants, allowing them to see their face featured on London’s iconic Piccadilly Circus screen.
